Russian President Vladimir Putin will not travel to Indonesia for the G20 summit, the Russian Embassy confirmed. The news was previously broken by an Indonesian government official.

The Embassy stated Russia will be represented by a delegation led by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. There is still a possibility that Putin might take part virtually, the Embassy added.
