In release today are the earnings of the big U.S. banks, starting with JPMorgan Wells, Fargo&Co, BlackRock and Citigroup. Thus enters the quarterly earnings season.

Elon Musk will unveil in a live Twitter stream xAI, the new start-up that aims to compete with Chat GPT. 

Start just above par for European stock markets. Milan's FTSE MIB +0.08%, Paris' CAC +0.10%, Madrid's IBEX +0.09%, London's FTSE +0.01%. 

Wall Street futures trade mixed at the start of the last session of the week. Dow Jones -0.15%, S&P500 -0.06% and Nasdaq +0.05%.

Forex & Commodities

The dollar touches lows in 15 months, betting for a more dovish FED following the steadily lowering inflationary data. The Euro corrects after rallying in past days, trading around 1.1216 (-0.07%). Sterling gives up -0.14%. Oil is set to close the week up more than 3%, trading around $76.70. Gold trades around $1960 an ounce (-0.16%). On a weekly basis +1.46%.

Asian stock markets traded mixed. Tokyo's benchmark Nikkei 225 index closes down -0.09%. China's Hang Seng index trades around 19,410 (+0.30%).
