A mixed start for European stock markets this morning. Milan's FTSE MIB -0.16%, Paris' CAC -0.21%, Madrid's IBEX +0.30%, London's FTSE +0.17%. Wall Street futures trade negative at the opening of European listings. Dow Jones -0.05 %, S&P500 -0.23% and Nasdaq -0.63%.

Forex & Commodities

At the opening of European stock exchanges, the euro and the pound traded mixed against the greenback. EURUSD continues the rally trading around 1.1216 (+0.15%). GBPUSD cross gives up 0.17 percent. Among commodities, energy up with oil trading above $75 per barrel (+0.01%). Gold trades around $1985 an ounce

Asian stock markets traded lower on the penultimate weekly session after the release of macro data. Tokyo's benchmark Nikkei 225 index closes down at -1.31 percent. China's Hang Seng index trades at 18,900 (-0.30 %).

Global Macroeconomic Data
USA - At 14:30 unemployment benefits will be published, expected to rise to 242K. Along with the benefits will be published the Philadelphia Fed's manufacturing index. At 4 p.m. the index of existing home sales expected to fall to 4.21 million.
