Cost of money in the Eurozone at the highest level since January 2009. The European Central Bank raises interest rates by 75 basis points for the third consecutive time, as widely discounted. The cost of money in the Eurozone thus rises to 2%. The rate on marginal lending operations, on the other hand, rises to 2.25%, while that on commercial bank deposits with the ECB itself rises to 1.50%.
